Mama Lycha Cheese and Jalapeño Pupusas.
Mama Lycha Quesillo (Melting Cheese), grated (for garnish).
Half a teaspoon of Mama Lycha garlic and parsley sauce
1 cup of finely chopped, cooked chicken
1 cup of guacamole or mashed avocado
A handful of chopped cilantro
Salt and pepper to taste
One tablespoon of mayonnaise
In a bowl, combine chopped, cooked chicken; guacamole or avocado; cilantro; salt; pepper; mayonnaise; and half a teaspoon of Mama Lycha Garlic and Parsley Sauce. Stir well and set aside.
Place the Mama Lycha cheese and jalapeño pupusas in a skillet or on a grill. Cook them over medium heat until they are hot and cooked through on the outside.
Once hot, carefully cut each pupusa in half to form a pocket. Fill them with the chicken and avocado mixture as you would with the Reina Pepiada arepa recipe.
Sprinkle a little grated Mama Lycha Quesillo (melting cheese) on top before serving.
remember that Mama Lycha Pupusas only need a few minutes in the skillet, or you can also put them in the air fryer.
