    • Mamá Lycha Jasmine Rice (1 cup)
    • Chicken broth (2 cups)

    • 1 egg

    • 1 tablespoon flour

    • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus extra for garnish)

    • 1 tablespoon onion powder

    • Salt to taste

    • Mamá Lycha Bread Crumbs (for coating)

    • Oil for frying

    • Red marinara sauce (for serving)

    1. Cook the Mama Lycha Jasmine Rice in a skillet with 2 cups of chicken broth, without adding oil, until fully cooked and the liquid is absorbed.

    2. Remove from heat and let the rice cool to room temperature.

    3. Transfer the cooled rice to a bowl. Add the egg, flour, grated Parmesan cheese, onion powder, and salt. Mix well until a uniform mixture forms.

    4. Shape the mixture into small balls.

    5. Roll each ball in Mama Lycha Bread Crumbs until fully coated.

    6. Fry in hot oil until golden brown and crispy on the outside.

    7. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

    8. Serve with red marinara sauce and sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top.

For a surprise cheesy center, place a small cube of cheese inside each rice ball before coating and frying.
