1 Bag of Sweet Ripe Plantains Mama Lycha
2 Mama Lycha Panelas (Brown sugar)
1 Cup of water
Rum or Brandy to taste
Ice cream to taste
First you have to make the caramel by putting 1 cup of water and 4 Mama Lycha Panelas (Brown sugar) in a pot and wait until they dissolve completely.
Add half a cup of brandy or rum and stir well.
Now you can add the ripe plantains to the preparation so that they integrate all the flavor of the caramel, for 10 minutes.
Serve in a bowl with your favorite vanilla ice cream and pour some of the caramel on top.
do not worry about the alcohol of the brandy or rum, it will evaporate during the preparation. This way the kids can enjoy this dessert too.
