- 2 Cups Mama Lycha Flour
- Mama Lycha Quesillo (Melting Cheese)
- Mama Lycha Salvadorean Style Sour Cream
- 1 cup of water
- Salt to taste
- Lettuce
- Red and Green Sauce
- Mix the flour with the water until you have a dough.
- Use some of the dough to make your first empanada. Shape it into a circle, fill it with Mama Lycha Quesillo (Melting Cheese), then fold the dough in half to make a crescent shape.
- Fry the empanadas in a pan with previously heated oil.
- To serve, place a base of lettuce on the plate, followed by the empanadas and some green sauce, red sauce and Mama Lycha Salvadoran Style Sour Cream.
- Garnish with more grated Mama Lycha Quesillo (Melting Cheese).
You can use a mold to easily shape the empanadas, or you can ask the kids to help you use their own hands to make even more special empanadas.
