1 Mama Lycha Chao Mein
1 cup Mama Lycha soy sauce
2 chicken breasts
1 cup orange juice
2 cups cornstarch
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 tablespoon orange zest
1 tablespoon orange marmalade
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
Sesame seeds to taste
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 carrot julienne
1/2 celery julienne
Shredded cabbage
Sesame oil
First, marinate the chicken in a bowl. Add the diced chicken, orange juice and Mama Lycha soy sauce and mix well.
In another bowl, add the cornstarch, garlic salt, and onion salt. Mix well and add the marinated chicken.
Fry the chicken in a pan with hot oil.
To make the sauce, put some olive oil in another pan with garlic, dried orange peel, orange marmalade, tomato sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, orange juice and some sugar. Mix until it has a thick, jam-like texture and then add the chicken.
Boil the Chao Mein Mama Lycha in a large pot of hot water for 10 minutes.
In another pan, sauté the onion, celery, carrot and cabbage and add the Chao Mein.
Serve some Chao Mein with vegetables on a plate and the orange chicken.
Before frying the chicken, make sure to remove the excess flour from the chicken so that it cooks well.
